Ørsted's objective is to create a planet that solely relies on renewable energy. They accomplish this by building and operating onshore and offshore wind farms, energy storage units, solar farms, green fuel facilities, renewable hydrogen facilities, and bioenergy plants. Ørsted's efforts have earned them global recognition for their climate action initiatives and placed them on the CDP Climate Change A List. Additionally, they were the first energy corporation to have their net-zero emissions target backed by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). With its headquarters located in Denmark, Ørsted has 8,000 employees. The company is listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen. As of 2022, the gropu's revenue stood at DKK 132.3 billion (equivalent to EUR 17.8 billion).
